ACQUIRE as NEEDED (daily)
Wednesday, hump day…
I turned on the Marlins, Braves game as close as I could to 11 o'clock this morning. The bride had some unique work obligations that required her to be out of the house, so I stayed home from work with the kids and a Direct Support Worker for Mayfare. This gave me a unique opportunity to watch baseball all day. I feel required to specify that while the games were on the screen throughout the day, I was attentive to my children as needed. Most of the aforementioned game played silently behind my eldest as she sat, doing school work on her laptop. I, with Montgomery, was outside, affixing two toilet paper tubes to her bike, on either side of the front fork. Why, you may ask. Her brother had done something similar to his bike and she wants so much to be like Amos. This season's Braves want so much to be like the Braves of the 90s. I'm not saying he's Greg Maddux, but Ian Anderson handled Miami, with 8 strikeouts and gave up no runs in five innings. Braves won 2 - 0 and are up 2 games to 0 in the series.
Next on the slate was the Asstros and Athletics, who stayed alive in their series with a come- from- behind 9 - 7 victory.
My Yankees fell again to the Rays, whose bats got hot this afternoon. Both Tampa Bay and Houston lead their series 2 - 1.
Dodgers and Padres played a night cap in which the Dodgers nearly allowed San Diego to come back from a three run deficit. Manny Machado nearly let a blown kiss get him ejected from the game. At the end of the day, Eric Hosmer is Joe Kelly's new best friend. L.A. wins, 6 - 5.
A blown kiss will never be as bad as a blown save. This is bakeshere.com
