Dear God,
Please let there be college football this fall.
Dear diary,
The Big 10 Conference announced they will only be playing games in conference this fall for football. They will, apparently, revise the schedule so each Big 10 college team will play 10 games against other conference university teams. This development in the viral pandemic's affect on sports is paramount. I imagine the other Power Five Conference will follow suit.
Austin Cindric won the second in as many Xfinity Series races in Kentucky. Go Austin!
Down in Florida, in the MLS bubble, the Sounders and Earthquakes played to a draw, in which neither team scored a goal. Ah, soccer!
The highlight of the day was Collin Morikawa schooling guys in Ohio, at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Nobody, save PGA officials and groundskeepers, was in Dublin, Ohio to see it as there are no spectators allowed. Lots of folks pro'ly saw it on television, like I did, though. Collin put on a show, shooting six under par, taking him to -13 after Round 2. He's three shots up on fellow American, Kevin Streelman, who, in fact shot -8 today. So, I guess Collin didn't take everybody to school... hahahahahahaha...
