Every 24... 7/28/2020

Dear diary,

My apology for missing yesterday's post is I kept nodding off when I went to write. This is all I had:

Every 24… 7/27/2020

It's Monday! ❤ July 27

Dear diary,

I just listened to the end of Reds, Cubs game. The Cubs had a three run lead, 8 - 5, going into the ninth. So, although it wasn't part of the radio call, I imagine Cincinnati's'

Tonight, I listened to the Angels, Mariners ballgame while walking with Shia and Sadie (2 of my dogs). I have Trout and Rendon in a fantasy lineup and up to the 8th inning, Seattle had allowed eight Angels runs, none of which were on account of my guys. Update: Rendon homered for 2 RBI in the bottom of the 8th!

I arrived home to news that my eldest was acting out, making risky decisions, goading the bride into inappropriate and unnecessary conversation. I need, we need God's wisdom. "If any of you lack wisdom, ask God. Do not doubt when you ask, for those who doubt are like a wind-tossed wave." I'm asking…

I'm very glad baseball is back. I was amused, but slightly saddened by the news of the Marlins pausing their games on account of numerous (19, I heard) positive covid tests. I've enjoyed listening to the early MLB day games while I work on the cars at the shop. The WNBA has played a few games to start their season, too, in a part of the Disney sports complex, away from MLS and NBA. My Aces (Las Vegas) lost the other night, but today, I enjoyed a bit of the Mystics, Suns matchup.

Yet, distracted by an enjoyable hobby, I'm sobered by my daughter's precarious mental state. I'm acutely aware of my weakness and ignorance. I'm humbled by my responsibility. I'm desirous of peace in my home.

May all rest well tonight; covid or no, at peace or unrest, broken or healing, bubble bound or free to roam, may all rest well tonight, through the night.
